Hi all,
The purpose is comparing lenses of about the same focal lengths at the same f/no for the same target with the same constant lighting conditions on tripod.
The lenses are of AIs type.
For each lens:
1. Using a Nikon D800 live-view on high zoom to achieve critical Focussing on max f/no.
2. Turn off LV.
3. Adjust f/no for that of comparison.
4. Take photo with cable release.
5. Same 1-3 with the other lens of same FL at same f/no.
6. No filters used.
7. Display photos on rear LCD, and compare on high zoom, center and borders.
I know, comparing on computer screen is more efficient.
But, is the above methods clearly enough to achieve good conclusions? Specially if there is LCD clean and clear protector.
Thanks very much.
