I have something like 300 meters of old Kodak 50D Vision film. It was sold to me as newer ECN-2 Vision III, but it is old one. Colors are weird and RemJet is hard to take out. I tested it in bw developer and made one good print which was taken to Belgium.

Is it ethical to use color film for bw? Or will I loose my film macho colorfull status?

This is bw print from Fuji 250D developed in ECN-2

For Civic Day Canada.

it's only taboo to people who think it's taboo.
this is more a lounge thing than anything to do with ethics surely

The secret-society of TriX users will be tracking you down.

More sensibly, it could be worth rolling up in to 17m lengths (or even in cassettes, if you have a lot of time) and selling it to lomographers, including remjet removal tips of course. You would more than cover the cost and could buy some b+w bulk film with the proceeds!
