Has anyone used an Argus C-4 with the Geiss interchangable lens thing? I'm curious about them, and I'd like to hear other's opinions. Thanks.

I seem to have one, but it has a non-working shutter at the moment. I need to get that fixed. It's my second restoration project. My first? A Kodak Anniversary Brownie.

In case you're still looking, I have a Geiss-Argus with the 50mm lens in excellent shape (shoots good pix, lens is clean, shutter works fine, lens easily removed), with an added bonus. The original case was junk so I vacuum-formed and hard plastic bucket case with a brown camo transfer finish (all done at work, tsk, and using materials from the orthotic brace industry).
Regards, Dave

Hi
I have a C-4, unused for a while, in OK condition if you are interested. Lens is clear, shutter blades are good, the shutter is 1/10 - 1/200 and all speeds work except 1/10. The lens' aluminum finish is tarnished and dull, and you could re-do the body vinyl.
Regards, Dave
