I am looking for a US based source for 13x18 (NOT 5x7) film. I have a bunch of 13x18 holders that I got at some point to utilize the greater availability of E6 film in that size (as opposed to 5x7). They are now laying idle. Any vendors importing 13x18 (cm) film into the US? I am looking for B&W film. 5x7 film is a couple of millimeters too small and is liable to fall out of the holder once the dark slide is withdrawn in the camera. I suspect I may be able to import some from Europe but I am trying to avoid excessive shipping costs.

Thanks.

Your only options may be the Ilford ULF or cutting down X-ray film. You might invest in a could of 5x7 holders in the meantime. Modern 5x7 and 13x18 holders have the same outside dimensions.

I have a number of 5x7 holders as well and will continue to use those. It would seem pretty extreme to try to cut down film. Surely 13x18 film is still being made for the European market? 13x18 cm was always the more popular size in Europe and historically more European photographers used 5x7/13x18 than American photographers. I am just trying to utilize ALL my holders instead of just half of them.

Film made for the European market in an obsolescent size is much less likely to crop up from a US source than 5x7 film. I have a 3.25x4.25 inch camera that I cut film for all the time, it is not that difficult. I know of no regular source for 13x18 cm film in the US other than the Ilford ULF once a year event but you could call Badger Graphic, http://www.badgergraphic.com/opencart/index.php?route=common/home.

It is still a standard manufactured size, the problem will be finding somewhere that imports it to the US so it might need to be ordered from - for example - the Foma logistics chain, however that works over there?

Why do you limit yourself to US vendors? Ordering from one of the european shops shouldn't be too hard... And there seems plenty of B&W in 13x18 available at several webshops I just checked.
