The triggers I had before were CTR-301p ones and they were said to be compatible up to 1/500s sync speed. I thought I'd update my system to the Godox ones and test it out. I didn't get a chance to test it out fully, but since I couldn't get an answer to the fastest non HSS sync speed these guys can go, I'm hopeful. Why the X1n TTL system? I shoot Nikon too, so I can use it on my DSLR and F6.

One problem that I faced for a while was that TTL feet had problems mounting to non-TTL hotshoes. The pins would just stop because it couldn't move up. This was until I found an adapter at Cowboy Studios (here in North Dallas) that had little ramps to push up the pins. The adapter has a center pin pass through, so no cables are needed if the body has a hotshoe.

Here it's mounted on the RZ67.

Test result from RZ on FP-100C with a Adorama Streaklight 360 sitting on the floor.

Will do a higher sync speed (1/400s & 1/500s) test soon.
