Updating Silverfast software

My 'Silverfast SE plus' software keeps notifying me that I now 'need' and must be updated for the recent Mac OS 'update..
but.. the Silverfast company continues to 'deny' that my copy (that came 'bundled' with my Viewscan 850 'Pro' scanner when purchased new is 'valid'.. and now continues to deny me the upgrade.

Has anyone else had this 'problem'?

I haven't had that issue, but did have to upgrade my serial number since my current mac doesn't have a disk drive.

I'd recommend searching your e-mail history to see if they ever sent you an upgraded serial number at some point.

I recently purchased an Epson 850 pro that came with SilverFast SE. I had Ai Studio 8 on my previous scanner. I spoke with SilverFast and was able to upgrade to the latest version of Ai Studio for my scanner and new OS at the upgrade price using my old license number.
