Calumet C1 “Black Beast” 8x10 camera with 3 lens boards, Matte box/shade, Heavy Calumet weighted dark cloth and original dark cloth frame in a Kalimar padded aluminum box. Camera has brand new bellows I installed from MyTonGuy on Ebay. They are more thin and flexible than the original bellows, so the camera collapses much neater for storage/transport.

1 lens board is metal, (42mm) and 2 are 3D printed; approx. 65mm and 47mm for the 3D printed boards (which are flocked with black velvet on the back). The 47mm board has a locator pin hole crudely drilled into the face, but it works fine and the flocking covers the back of the hole.

Note: the matte box does not have a filter frame; that’s how I purchased it and never sourced a frame. I do have some Calumet 4x4 paper Wratten filter holders around here somewhere I can throw in to the deal if I can find them.

Edit: Found them; 12 ea.

I forgot to add the "Maxi Quick Stick" bellows compensation calculator that also comes with the kit. It's about a yard long and directly measures bellows compensation for a huge range of lenses with sliding scales.

I am selling this camera as it is simply too heavy for me to carry into the field, so I am buying a real field camera. I don’t have a studio, so it needs to find a new home.

In great condition; only minor wear on black paint. All knobs are present and original. It is a solid camera that will serve you well in the studio or the field if you are young and strong enough to pack it into the mountains!

$950 net to me; I will cover the shipping cost.

If you send a personal check, you will avoid PayPal or other electronic fees. I would prefer a personal check or some other means to avoid additional fees.

Obviously CONUS shipments only; It would be paralyzingly expensive to pay shipping to anywhere else in the World.

I have more photos if you need more details; see HERE.

Of course, tripod not included...

Thanks for looking.

The "naked" case, which is 23 x 21 x 11 inches, weighs 37 lbs.

Of course, that doesn't include the overpack weight and dimensions. I didn't want to actually pack it up before I knew someone was willing to purchase the camera kit.

I would be willing to settle for this as the basis for "actual" shipping costs (plus insurance) and absorb the overage, if you get my meaning.
