What color negative film - Portra 160 or 400?

Onboard cruise ship and onshore. Possibly on ship deck as well.

I would go with Portra 400 which will work both inside and outside the ship. Great for anything you come across during an excursion. [Added: I use Portra 400 for 35mm and 120*]

* READ: Hasselblad with the fastest shutter speed of 1/500 second

I agree about going with 400 -- and if you do get a scene that's too bright, well, just overexpose it. Portra will forgive

I used Portra 400 and T-Max 400 on my last trip. Summer down here, some really sunny days and, even with a Hasselblad (top shutter speed is 1/500), I didn't get overexposed shots. Had to close all the way down to f/32 in some cases, though.

Cheers,
Flavio
