Here are two proof prints from a roll of Efke 25 this weekend, done on Ilford's RC paper, MGIV grade 2, with dektol and selenium toning. Both are showing some nasty reflections from a partially cloudy sky. I really enjoy using this film with pyrocat, because specular highlights from a stopped-down aperture and the sun look so wonderful. A nice bright star with a halo and almost a squint to view them, when all works according to plan. Unfortunately, what started as a mostly blue sky turned into a mostly cloudy sky.
The paint in the first shot was very well done, but the clouds made it look like a nasty case of impetigo. The chrome trim rings should have a nice, bright point of light from the sun, but instead have a mottled look to them and are too bland.
Have any "unwanted" reflections you want to share? Best, tim
