Kodak B40 Fine Grain Regular plates in a yellow box. It says 12 plates 4 & 3/4" x 6 1/2" / 12 x 16.5cm. (is that half plate?). I have not opened it to check, but it feels full. I believe they are unused but don't have a way to verify any more. It does say they can be viewed by safelight so they must be ortho rather than panchromatic. They may be hopelessly fogged by now (they must be ancient!) but if a brave or quixotic photographer wants to try 'em, I'd love to pass them on. COLLECTION ONLY as I expect if I post these they are quite likely to get broken. Dalston area, London N16.

Best Practices: Always use a verified payment method with buyer protection (avoid "PayPal Friends & Family"). Services like Escrow.com are highly secure. Be suspicious of random unsolicited contact via Private Message. If you see suspicious behavior, please use the Report link on the post immediately.
Would you be willing to ship them to Canada? The boxes the plates come in have slotted holders - they might make it, my used boxes of film have moved from one place to another without issue.

I'd pay shipping of course.

thanks.

Hmm. Once I start shipping it anywhere it's much the same to me, if you're prepared to take on the risk. You could be right about the slotted holders, I have no way to verify at the moment (sadly!). I have opened this in a changing bag in the past, verified it was plates in there and taped it up, that's all. (and it was about 15 years ago so I don't really remember!) I think they Xray international parcels pretty hard these days but they may survive (your call whether you want me to put "PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIALS DO NOT XRAY" all over it or not - it might help, or it might invite 'em to zap it extra hard - you never know and with this you really won't, as it might already be badly fogged or it might be relatively OK).

OK then. I will pack it up and see how big/heavy it turns out and you can change your mind when we both get sticker shock at the cost.

Best

Lester

Hi Lester,

I'm okay with the risk, in fact if any or all break or there is fog etc, it's okay with me - I can make use of them either way!
Let me know what the damages to Guelph, ON, N1H 5N1 Canada.
My email is richelle.forsey{@}gmail.com if it makes more sense to continue this by email.

thanks,

Richelle
