Hello everyone, I went to a bankruptcy sale of a local electronics equipment seller that worked with the governments radar division and such, and I found a box of big format film.
Written on it is "Kodalith Ortho Film Type 3. [2556] OPEN ONLY IN 1A FILTER LIGHTING". On the inside is a metallic bag, which has been cut open and then folded and resealed with scotch tape.
I'm interested in seeing what these are pictures of, but I'm not sure if they are even used or if they are just left over unused sheets.
What would be the best approach to checking this? Are these like negatives, but you need the light filter, or are they probably just unused?
Asking here because it seems like you guys/gals/trans friends know a lot about stuff like this.

Likely unused film with no images on them. Only open the bag under pure red light.
If the bag is already open (and resealed), it's possible/likely that the film has suffered under environmental conditions and is no longer fit for optimal use. There may be people on this forum who are interested in taking it from you, as some of us still use this kind of material in our hobby.

Alright, this was stored in a pretty dry and cold storage unit type of building. And if anyone wants it, send me a mail at martingutten3@gmail.com.
