Looking to buy a 2.8C with clean Xenotar lens. Overall cosmetics is not important. Good mechanical condition is important. 'User' grade, I guess? Or better.
Clean lens. I know how hard it is to find perfect for these soft coatings, but no coating mottling, no separation.
I had a very nice one of these years ago and regret selling it. Looking to get back to that look of the Xenotar and the 10-bladed aperture.
The Unicorn is a clean Xenotar with fully intact undamaged coating. And yes, I consider the rendering of the Xenotar on the 2.8C to be superior to the Planar.
My 2.8C Xenotar was repaired by you @Dan Daniel , where you made the focusing bellows by hand. I still have it and enjoy using it. Glad you found your unicorn too!
