I use the Unicolor one liter kit to process my film within two to three days maximum.

Thanks for all the info, I will probably wait till I get a few more rolls to get started. For the stop bath did you just use Kodak stop bath, I have that from my B&W stuff.

I used Kodak indicator stop, the same I use for B&W. I mix one for colour (C41) and one for B&W. I keep them separate to make sure there no cross contamination. Better safe than sorry.

The Unicolor kit seems to last much longer than the instructions state. I followed a thread elsewhere on APUG where someone mentioned getting 24 rolls out of a 1L kit over a period of months.

Personally, I've had my 1L Unicolor kit mixed up since the 1st week of July. I've ran about 16 or 17 rolls through it already.

This one is from roll 15 or 16, developed on 9/9:https://www.flickr.com/photos/mmphotos23/21124599330
And roll 16 or 17, developed on 9/20: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mmphotos23/21619215981

This is my first time doing C41 at home, I normally do B&W with Ilford DD-X. I don't do anything special to store the Unicolor, it's kept in old 1L Ilford bottles in a bathroom closet. I'm hoping to get another 2 or 3 rolls out of the kit, and based on my experience I just received the Unicolor 2L kit that I'm hoping to use for 35+ rolls over a 4-6 month period.

Welcome to APUG

My experience I can get twelve to sixteen roll with the 1 liter Unicolor kit. I believe that Unicolor down rates the number of rolls that can be processed to allow a safety margin.

Looking forward to get caught up on C41. The 1 liter should do it.
