Unicolor C-41 Developer Turning Green?

I've developed thousands of rolls of film but this is the first time I've seen something like this, any advice?

I just finished developing 3 rolls of C-41 film in my Jobo ATL-3. Two were Lomography films and one was Fuji 200 out of a disposable.

I mixed up a fresh batch of Unicolor C-41 chemistry as I have done so often in the past. The developer was a light amber color and the blix a deep red, nothing out of the norm here.

Anyways I take the film out of the tank and the negatives look fine. When I replenish the chemistry, I notice the developer used to develop the film has a strange grey/green tint to it and not the usual amber color.

What might have caused this? Did the chemicals somehow mix? Is it the anti-halation on the Lomography film causing the green tint?

According to PE these dyes washing out at the beginning of your process are not antihalation dyes, but filter layers for adjusting spectral sensitivity. Not all emulsions are created equal, even if done in the same plant, and color characteristics could be all over the place without these dyes.

The chemicals probably did not mix, the only way to find out if its still good is to develop another roll of film. I am not sure of the cause, but I have had a similar issue with my RA-4 developer going green. It went back to its original color after a while, and worked, so it is likely that your developer will still be usable. I have the unicolor kit and have not had any problems with it, so I can only speculate.
In any case, when developing that much film, Kodak's C-41 chemicals would probably be a better deal, but I have never used them, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
