Interesting article, too bad they are repeating the myth of "traditional film is in its death throes". And while the "alternative processes" movement may have gotten its start in the 60s, I'd hardly bill most AltProcess and ULF folks I know as zonked-out hippies practicing a free-love style photography.

Thank you for bringing the article to my attention. One of the few occasions the notion of alternative processes makes its way into mainstream journals. I would like to add my personal observation that the idea of technical progress has many times also proved a handicap in creative photography.
