Just did a big batch of Tri-X in Diafine and some of the films show a Brownisch uneven miscolouring after drying. Is this due to lack of fixing? Will refix solve the problem?
Best regards

I don't know the answer, but refixing couldn't hurt. Let me know if it works or not

Refix worked.
It was sugested that the problem could be Dichroic fog and the remedy would be 30sec in a farmers reducer solution ( got a link in the PM ). I looked it up in the Darkroom cookbook and found a solution using 1 part rapid hardening fix (ammonium- type) 2 parts water and 15g of citric acid per liter working solution immerse for 2 min and then wash. I wonder if Ilford rapid fix (non hardening) would work.
Best regards
