I just wondered how many people here are into underwater photography. I did a forum search but came across very few references so obviously not enough
of us for a separate section but would be nice to be able to compare notes/experiences/tips etc. I know that many have given up film and gone to digital and most of the housings, etc are also for the digital market but there are a few of us still using film.

I'm not - but you might want to do a search of the threads here. I think there was a Nikonos thread not too long ago. Might yield some member names who you could then PM or e-mail.
I've always been interested in underwater photography so it would be fun to read a few threads about it.
I've done a lot of UW photography and in fact teach it. Currently using Nikon N90s's in Ikelite housing. Just got back from Truk Lagoon and had a great time shooting off tons of film.
I do whenever I can but I must admit I haved moved to digital in this area. I am strongly considering going back to film though. I have my eye on a nice Nikonos rig, we will see.
All my underwater is snorkling though, never learned to scuba.
I have a Hugy Fot under water housing for my Bolex 16mm cine camera and a Eumig Nautica underwater super8 (the camera itself is h20 proof) - so on occasion I'll jump into the local pond (the Pacific) and take a photo or thousand yes ...
