Save your money and your gas. They should be paying you $5 to come in there and dig through the garbage.

This isn't a "show" by any means, it is simply a swap meet of rehashed crap the same sellers bring every year. Overpriced 4 year old DSLR's that are beat up, 30 year-old Takumars, scratched filters, etc...

I saw that and chuckled. Someone really is in a bad mood.

There is some truth to the grumble though - if you are looking for new camera equipment or supplies, you will most likely be disappointed.

There probably should be something more in the name, to give a feeling for what is there.

Someone was in a bad mood, but in all fairness, I went to swap meet once and came away with the same impression. Most of the stuff looked like it had cycled through 100 swap meets, and the stuff that was in decent condition was overpriced relative to KEH and other online retailers that take returns.

shop local

I have better luck at the photosop clearance and used bins

filters $1
books $2
flashes $ 2 - 10
3x TC $15
"cheap" lenses $10 - $30
complete minolta xg-9 kit $50

at $1 a filter, it's not too bad having 4 different sizes 49, 52, 55,58

Ummmm. Which century are you talking about?

19th to 20th! It is an old Kodak 2D 5x7 with about every accessory Kodak made back then including the original tripod. I still have to find a period correct lens for it, but I am in no rush.

For digital, 4 years old can be ancient, lol! This however does not apply to our manual/automatic cameras, ...as long as film is available, they will not be obsolete, hehe! ;-)
