I was looking for a deal on Tmax 400 and found Ultrafine T grain 400, the developing times listed by Ultrafine do match Kodak or Delta 400. Any ideas who makes it. I have bought Tmax reloads from Ultrafine the current offering is packaged by Ultrafine, does not appear to be DX coded.

I wouldn't waste your money of Ultrafine film. The 120 I bought a couple years ago was terrible. I got sucked in with the price point.

Don't be so quick to pass judgement on "all" the films the Photo Warehouse sells. Yes, I got stung on probably the same Chinese film you did Todd, but bought some Ultarfine Xtreme 120 and bulk 35mm and found it to be as good as most films out there and it had "no" QC issues. Would I buy more? Yes, I already did. I really don't know about the T-grain films, but I'd be willing to buy two or three rolls to find out. Stick with the Xtreme films from the Warehouse and you should be very happy. John W

The 400 T grain is only sold in lots of 5 for around $18.00. I have used Ultrafine 400 which I think is Forma, the were selling 120 rebanded Forma but it seems that the paper backing used on their lot was defective. At this point I am just curious as to who else other than Kodak or Ilford can coat a T grain emulsion.

Meh

I tend to stay away from the "UltraMegaPro" called stuff and stick to the original.

Looking at the auction site listing for the film it says it is a T grain type of film. It does not state that it is actually a T-grain film. You raise a good question about who makes it.

The film that seems to come closest is Form T800 which if shot at 400 would be run about 6 mint in D76. Ultrafine may have a found a orphaned roll.
