I just ordered some in 11x14, about 1/2 hour ago. They still have it for now.

I ordered 1/2 plate film to fit the correct holders and Greg suggested that it be under sized by 1/16th inch. I agreed to this but the film when it arrived was cut to nominal 1/2 plate dimensions. Greg and I had an exchange of emails and the upshot was that a fresh box of film cut to dimensions to fit was sent to me. As far as I am concerned the matter was dealt with in a satisfactory way and, should the occasion arise, I would be happy to order again from his company.

I ordered 100 sheets of film 3 months ago, got a reply back they needed exact sizes, I sent them back and haven't heard anything since.

I decided as there was a serious risk the film would no longer be available in the future I bought some Efke from J&C and cut it down myself. Trouble is I don't use it in smaller sizes but that might have to change.

I first ordered film from Photo Warehouse on the recommendation of john nanian, who made it clear that when ordering I needed to specify that the film was to be used in film holders for a large format camera---which I have every tiime I ordered their products and I've never been sent film that didn't fit. When I ordered my first batch of 12x20 I was told that film is cut in batches all to the same size(makes sense) so that in the more esoteric formats there can often be a lag between when the film is ordered and when it is cut and delivered. I've no complaints so far.

I posted a while back on this or another thread about a couple of small problems with Ultrafine/photo warehouse. I have to update. My problems were

1) they put some items on backorder and I didn't know how long it was going to take for delivery. The last item showed up after a couple of weeks.

2) they listed a few rolls of film as shipped that weren't in the box. I added a note on my next purchase (web-based) about this and they were included with that second purchase.

Basically, everything has worked out well with them for me.

The big question in my mind is: will Photo Warehouse continue to cut Ultrafine 125 (lford FP-4-oid)in ULF sizes now that Ilford has appears to have abandoned the ULF market? That would certainly be a niche in the market!

John it's not that we don't want to cut film, it's that we can't get a hold of any. Right now I have one roll left
(20" x 500') of the 125 and we are out of the 400. All I can say is when we find some we will buy it.
Thanks, Greg/Photowarehouse
