The Kodak Retina IIC was officially the Type 029 Retina IIC built between 1957 to 1958. Do not confuse this with the IIc (little c) which was the Type 020
It is a very compact folding 35mm camera with exceptional glass in the Rodenstock Retina-Heligon which was only found on cameras made for the non-USA market. This camera has the F/2.8 50mm lens attached and comes with the F/4 80mm lens.
In very good condition with a slight dent on the top corner and some minor scuffing from use.
Very clean inside as is the 50mm lens attached. The 80mm has a small scratch on the front lens and will need cleaning inside.
It has the synchro compur shutter with speeds from 1 second to 1/500 second and a bulb option. This includes an MX flash synch and a self timer.
The large bright viewfinder has guidelines inside for 35, 50 and 80mm lenses. The coupled rangefinder is clear and accurate for distance. It aligns perfectly in the horizontal but is slightly high in the vertical.
I shot a roll of expired film (Kodak Gold) which produced some interesting results. The shots included show great colour in one, another converted to B&W to show how much detail was captured. You would of course get better results on new film. Please ignore the newton rings from the scanning process. I broke my ANR glass.

I bought it to shoot alongside my Agfa Isolette II folder but I'm finding 35mm to be a little less interesting at the moment and I already have a rangefinder and SLR in that size.
£160
Price includes shipping in the UK. I will consider shipping outside the UK at cost for long term members.
