Well it maybe wasn't quite a case of ingenuity or derring do as appears to be hinted at. It was in fact all done with the help and blessing of the Palace but yes it was well done in a kind of a "British" no fuss way.

With "Royal Photographer" I expected someone of the Royals, as the Queen herself, with her Rollei 35.

What is meant in this feature is a "Royals Photographer", thus a photographer taking photographs of Royals.

(Or did I get wrong?)

The mini-series "The Crown" on USA TV shows the young Queen (actor) with a Bolex 16mm camera; a true 'Royal Photographer.'

Well, I decided to have a few seconds glimpse into that video, and the original title is correct. I just forgot about the ambivalent meaning of "royal". That is the effect when you come from a language with so many flexions...

The term "royal" has several contrary meanings. It even is both a noun and a adjective.
