UK - Luton/Beds/N Herts

Does anyone have any suggestions for things to photograph in and around Luton, Harpenden, St Albans Radlett, Bedford, Letchworth, Hitchin?

I live in Luton and other than Wardown Park I can't really think of much to photograph. My photography partner and I like to go places to photograph old buildings or spectacular landscapes. But something close to home would be cheap and cheerful!

St Alban's cathedral, Verulamium Park, Sopwell Priory, Hatfield House, Barton Hills nature reserve, Dunstable Downs..............there's loads and loads of stuff. Try looking on Trip Advisor for suggestions.
