Hi All,

A pal of mine today told me that he'd called Fuji because his slides weren't returned in the usual 4/5 days. The explanation was that Fuji are moving their processing operations from Warwick to Leeds. Whether the delay (two weeks so far) was due purely to the move or whether this will become the norm wasn't explained, but it's to be hoped that this is only a temporary matter.
I shall be contacting Fuji UK for their comments but would be pleased to hear any other information. It would be a real shame to lose the excellent service we've been used to.

Best wishes,

Steve

Hi Steve

I experienced the same delay and the same explanation; I have the new address for the Fuji lab if you need it.

I recently used Sensia 100 for the first time in a couple of years and was rather underwhelmed by the results; however since then I've had another roll processed by the new lab and it looks a lot better so maybe the Warwick lab was getting a bit tired.

The changes have affected Fuki film sales as well, there was a thread about that here a few weeks back.

The official info from Fuji is on:-

Dead Link Removed

Hopefully they will keep up the good standards of the Coventry/Warwick lab.

For information, in a conversation I had with the Leeds lab today, the chap I spoke to told me that they were still working hard to get the E6 turnaround time down to 2 - 3 days from its current 7 - 10.
More interestingly, he told me with no prompting that they were processing on average 500 films per day.
