Mr. Whiting of Spalding, UK, has an interest in U.S. outlaws and spotted this tintype on eBay. According to two analysts it appears to be a genuine photo of Jesse James.

Color me skeptical. And sad that Will Dunniway is following in Patrick Alt's footsteps getting into "authenticating" images of questionable provenance.

Personally, this excites me whether it's authentic or not. I love history, and especially historical photographs.

unless he is playing croquet or badminton i don't think it is authentic.
everyone who knows anything about JJ knows at that age he was
lawnbowling too..
