Found this site via a pointer from the Ugly HedgeHog user group. So many photography sites to choose from but this looks like a winner. Started photography and processing my own film/photos in the 1960's. Haven't had many cameras thru the years and although I've gone into digital, I still make use of my film cameras to a great extent. Do my own film processing but normally scan the negatives now for digital printing. Still have all my enlarging equipment but too lazy to use it, spoiled by Lightroom and Photoshop. Originally used all Canon gear, first was an FX, later traded up to an F1 and later added, as a second body, an AE-1. I should have seen the light when they changed from the FL mount on my FX to the FD mount on the F1, but since I only had a couple lenses that they took in trade with the body, the switch didn't bother me. However, when Canon switched from FD to EOS lenses, I sold all my Canon gear because I could see my very large Canon FD lens collection wouldn't be readily usable on the newer Canon EOS/EF mounts. I think Canon may have lost a lot of old time users with that move. I switched to Nikon as it appeared they were holding the line with their lens mount system. This seems to be holding true as my real old Nikon lens from the 70's thru 90's are still usable on my Nikon D800 and D90 (cropped). Personally, the change was a smart move for me since I now have far more invested in good Nikon lenses that I can still use, than I have in the bodies. My film cameras still in use are a Nikon F4 35mm, RB67 ProS 6x7cm and believe it or not, a Yashica 124G 6x6cm. I keep saying I'd love to upgrade to a Mamiya C220 or C330 but dog-gone it, the Yashica just keeps working, it won't break down so I can justify buying an Cxxx. I also use, as a take everywhere when I'm not carrying the big cameras (either film or digital), a Leica M240 w/35mm f2. I had used my old Leica M4 as trade-in and now wish I hadn't!! I should have just bought the M240 outright and kept the M4!!
