TX with Pyrocat 1+1+100

My developing time is 11 min. 68 degrees. I use my homemade rotery processer, and I use vc paper. Might be a good starting point. Good luck, this is a great combo!

Looks like 6 minutes @ 72degrees if I'm reading that right. That is rotary processing though I think.

thanks for the info. I've done TX with Pyrocat before, but sheets and DBI, so I didn't really pay attention to the time... Now I'm shooting 120 for a while.

TX with Pyro HD 1:1:100

I have used this combination one time for some informal portraits (35mm).
Using the cameras average meter.
I used the published time for HP5 of 13 minutes, hand developed, initial agitation 10 secs, then agitated 10 secs once per minute. My results where very nice. Although I think they might have had a little to much contrast could have reduced my development a small amount. I printed them on Ilford Multigrade IV FB and was pretty happy with my prints although I had print them darker than I would have liked (lost some shadow detail in prints) to get highlight detail.

It really depend on your technique!!

I use that combo (35mm TX 400) for 10 minutes at 75F. Works great. Small tank. Initial agitation for 60 sec and 10 every minute.

I tried it out last night, and apart from the fact that my negs need about one more stop of exposure (shadow detail not quite there), it looks like great potential!

Since you are developing with a rotary processor you may want to try pyrocat-P

I think semi-stand works best with pyrocat-hd, but it sometimes streaks in rotary processors. If you aren't using rotary, then definitely try semi-stand.
