A few months ago I made a post asking about help for Japan ((there was a url link here which no longer exists)). I just wanted to say THANKS to all of you folks on APUG for all the fine tips  It really helped while I was there and good to know I had a community accessible to back me up or help me out.

I made a 4-part blog post on my trip. All images were shot on film. Hope you folks don't mind me posting here.

Nice photos! I'm always interested in how others photograph Japan. Sometimes I wish I could be a tourist (or new to Japan) so I could look at everything with fresh eyes.

This is good to read, as I'll have a few days in Tokyo early next year. Although I've been to China several times I've never been to Japan and so this is keenly appreciated!

Fantastic pictures. They take me right back to my visit to Tokyo/Kyoto, some of the same scenes and places. Thanks for sharing.

Glad you folks are enjoying them!
I wish I could have stayed longer and do a longer term project.

Most of the color is Kodak Pro Color 100. I switched over to Superia 200 (and shot at 100 ASA) as I ran out of the Kodak film!
Black and white on HP5 Ilford film shot on my Leica, which was acquired while on the trip
