Looks like the voigt accessory shoe has been discontinued... Any other options that aren't a foot tall?

Try a local machine shop. Buy two metal shoe mounts and ask them to join them.

It's discontinued, but may still be available.

Look on eBay, under Voigtlander. They do come up,
but you need to know which one of the 3, different
ones, you need & that they're selling.

For Ex. I use an " A ", the small one, for my Contax G2, but need the " C ", for my Bessa L. The " C " doesn't clear the rewind knob, so I wonder if the
" B ", might have been a better bet.
But Stephen Gandy said, that the Bessa L needs the
" C ".

This is kind of a two shoe accessory. I'm sure if you asked the guy, he'd make one up with out the thumb grip. Actually, if you do, and its not too expensive, I'd buy one too.
