I have two opportunities for photo talks this month. While not 100% analog, the topics discussed will be applicable to any manner of photographic practitioner.
The first talk will be part of the Cary Photographic Artists ( http://www.caryphotographicartists.org/ ) meeting at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Cary Theater, 122 E. Chatham St., Cary North Carolina, 27511. The talk, entitled Project Based Photography, will be on my approach to photographic projects and how my process evolved. There will be lots of photographs and examples of my projects.
The second talk will be a panel discussion at the Greenhill Center for North Carolina Arts, 200 N Davie St, Greensboro, NC 27401 on Sunday August 17, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The photographers from the Light on China exhibition (http://greenhillnc.org/?page/154389/light-on-china ) will have a panel discussion on our experiences photographing in China and the photographs in the exhibition.
