PUBLIC TRANSPORT is available: (fare is a few dollars, but NJ TRANSIT discounts this if you are old (show ID) like I am (ie, 62+).
FROM NEWARK: Penn Station Bus Lanes, bus # 76 drops you off near the front of the Hilton (45 minutes bus ride)
FROM MANHATTAN: Port Authority Bus Terminal (41st Street and Eighth Avenue): every half hour: bus #163 or #164 leaves from gate # 224, upper level. MUST buy ticket at NJ TRANSIT window or ticket machines, both on main floor, beforehand (as cash NOT accepted in Manhattan on buses leaving PABT). Get off at Valley Blvd & Baldwin Ave (30 minutes bus ride). Walk about 10 minutes eastbound towards Terrace Avenue to get to the Hilton (slightly north on Terrace Ave but across from an expressway). Walk south for one block to safely cross expressway and then walk north two blocks to the Hilton's front door.

FROM MANHATTAN: From Port Authority Bus Terminal (41st Street and 8th Avenue): get bus #194 (Gate #233, upstairs, buy ticket in advance, as NO cash accepted aboard bus at PABT). After about 40 minutes you will arrive at Willowbrook Mall (Shoppers Stop). A few minutes later you will arrive at NJ Transit Rt23 Transit Center. A minute after that: Fairfield Rd stop, then the NEXT stop (notify driver) is Mountainview Ramp. From there walk straight ahead, and a bit to your left, for about 1/3 mile, past Post Office, to the Wayne Firehouse at 97 Parish Drive, Wayne, NJ 07470.
RETURNING TO EITHER MANHATTAN OR NEWARK: You must use the overhead crossing walkway across Rt 23 to get to # 194 stop for Manhattan (or Willowbrook Mall Shoppers Stop for transferring to the # 11 or # 28 for Newark. Make CERTAIN to watch for that bus and flag clearly so that the driver will stop!
