Two bath Lith

I've experimented with it but want to know how others do this.
I'm not talking about 2nd pass lith where a normal print is then lith printed.

I have a developer mix that makes a wonderful tone.
However, it has a crappy black point.
I tried a number of things but they didn't work out.
I have a few more but decided to come here for input.
Is it best to get the blacks in the first bath and 'finish' in the second?

That kind of sounds opposite to me but I've read that a couple of places.
I'd think I could print it in my 'nice tone' bath first and use a second bath to get my blacks.
But a couple iterations didn't work out that way.

Should I stop the first bath quite early? If I take it to completion does that mean the second bath is ineffectual?

The traditional method for two-bath development is kept highlights where you want them in the first developer, then bring up the shadows in the second. There is no reason this scheme should not work with the lith developer. Transfer

I have used Lith omega from Moersch:

not only I got increase densities of the shadows, but also richer blacks.

I had seen examples of the omega solution and saw how colorful it made the prints.
Well, I'd like to just deepen the blacks (or create them) and leave the color alone.
However, maybe different dilutions will do that and this statement sounds promising
"On bromide silver emulsions and mixed emulsions with a high content of bromide silver you will observe little change in terms of colours, only the densities will increase."

Have you tried sending Wolfgang Moersch an email? I bet you he has what you need.

If you want to kill Lith colors you just need to tone in selenium. They will go away.
