Quite a collection there. There's also a 5x7" Home Portrait Graflex reflex camera (I'm standing pat with my 5x7" Press Graflex for now).

Now he has added an 8x10 Phillips Advantage. Mine is early 1990s and a higher serial number. The Advantage series does have a reversible back. On mine the springs holding the back in place had lost their tension. Bending back to the proper shape did not solve the problem. Dick Phillips had replacement parts.

Good luck,

John Powers

Who in the right mind would want one of those 11x14 Phillips! No one is even going to bid on those! I suggest no one bid on them!

I totally agree, too techy, I'd prefer something with a nice wood grain and high gloss finish, also none of the cameras offered match any of my lens boards. :D

The backs ARE reversible as just confirmed to me by the seller...

Tempting... but I am a bit puzzled as to how one would go about bidding on 1 or 2 of these cameras. What I mean is, if someone places a bid for one camera, they will always be outbid by someone wanting both, or am I missing something here?

Check with Ebay on how it's done when a seller is selling multiple items. I believe the two highest bidder will purchase them for the same price, or if you entered to purchase TWO items, you are bidding on both.

It's seems somewhat odd that this guy has TWO Phillips 11x14 cameras. Seriously now...how often do you see even an 8x10 Phillips, let alone a rare 11x14...AND THERE IS TWO?! Hmmmm...

I really wonder whos estate this is, because look at some of the stuff this guy is posting! WOW! He is on a listing spree of fine lenses now, including some VERY expensive glass.
