Has anyone here successfully cleaned and lubed a turret finder? Or is this something that is best left to a qualified repairman?

I have a Braun turret viewfinder that was very hazy. I took it apart and cleaned it. That was easy.
I have a Leitz turret viewfinder that I dropped and something fell apart inside. I took it apart and put it back together. That was easy enough.

I'm pretty good at disassembly. It's the reverse process that gives me problems.
