Hi. just a quick question. On the Bronica TTL exposure meter stove pipe for the EC, there are two gold pins that establish an electrical circuit when the meter prism is attached to the Bronica EC camera body. The original manual also describes this on page 31, "The TTL meter can be attached easily to the camera body, and electrical circutry is established on attachment." Can someone please tell me exactly what this circuit connection is intended to do? I've gone ahead and tested the meter and I can see that it does not effect the meter reading or turn it on (there is a simple on/off switch). I need to know the purpose for a circuit connection. I am assuming that it serves to allow the camera body and prism to communicate in some way. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
