Hello there!
Yesterday i got a pack of Tetenal gelatine toner, bluetoner and triponal toner, all for free because they are 15 years old. Will they still work?
Also, i have never tried toning of prints before, so do you guys have some knowledge you could share? (Or literature/webpages)

It's hard to be specific not knowing the formulae but I have toner solutions that are at least 26 years old and still work perfectly. So try them it's not difficult.

When these toners were "new" Tetenal must have issued instructions with them. If someone can supply a link to Tetenal then you can contact them and ask for instructions.

Getting Tim Rudman's book on toning would be worthwhile as well

Hi Nicholai,

Have a look at Tetenal's website, http://www.tetenaluk.com/shop/catalogsearch/result/index/?q=toner&limit=all. I can see no reason your toners won't work as long as they're sealed and have been stored cool. The only way you'll know for certain is to try them out.

Have fun,
