Trying to replicate Rolleiflex fault

I don't have nearly the knowledge that Dan has but from what I have learned doing my own general cleanings are that the levers and pivoting points on the winding side needs to be cleaned. I do it with a good electronic spray. it dries fast and leaves no residue and then apply a very light oil on the pivoting post. I have never removed any part and so far my cameras have performed well enough for the amount of times I use them. I may have been lucky because no parts have seemed to worn, only dirty. If you want to do it yourself make sure you watch several videos on removing the wind side of the camera. Also if the lens assembly has been put back on slightly crooked or the shoulder screw connecting the body to the shutter is not seated properly the lever might not have the throw to cock the shutter. This has worked for me but I was a copier technician for over 50 years so if you are not comfortable taking apart small things then don't.
