This is the back element of a Kowa 85mm F2.8 lens. There is s small amount of fungus on it. It does not look too bad but I can not get the lens element out. The retaining ring is already removed, the lens element will not come out. I used a suction tool without success. I don't want to use a hard tool to lever out the lens element. Am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated.

Update, the rear element is tapered and does not come apart easily. What I did was t tap it on a soft surface and it dropped out. In case anyone wants to know this.
