Trying to decide on FD Lenses

Living happily with my FD 24mm f2.8 SSC and my FD 85mm f1.2L. 1 for wide group and landscape, the other for some range and outdoor close-up portrait.

Trying to decide which 50 to keep....

Any reason to choose the 50 SSC over the FDn? I could keep both, but I don't really NEED both. Just like I don't really NEED the 35-105

Why not keep both with one as a backup just in case something happens? With the way prices for FD lenses(and most manual focus lenses) going up because of m4/3 cameras, you might end having to pay more in the future.

I didn't take much convincing did it! Haha.

BTW - I'd be interested in trading my 35-105 for a 24 f/2.8 (either version) if anyone is interested. (I've even got the hood for it!)

300mm f/4L is good but really not that much better than the 300mm f/4 version.

Just picked up the FD 300mm f/4L about a month ago and have been testing it against my non-L. I gotta say, the L is MUCH better in contrast, saturation and sharpness until at least f/8.
