Tripod head for ULF

I have just refinished my 12X20 Korona and tried mounting it on my Zone VI tripod with 3047 head. It seems to be a bit much weight for the head. The tripod itself is solid. Do you have any ideas of a head that would handle the weight (about 32 lbs)? Does anyone have experience with the Majestic geared head? Is Reis the only other option? Thanks for any input.

I have used the Majestic on massive studio camera stands with 8x10 metal monorails and they are seriously rugged. I can't imagine anything that can be lifted onto it that it can't handle.

PS. I think you ULF guys are nuts (I'm totally jealous

The Majestic is the way to go. Get it with the large 6x7 plate. Much more reasonably priced than the 'Reis, and very common on ebay.

Thanks for the input guys. I will look on Ebay to see if I can pick one of the heads up. Kerik do you have a model number of that particular head by chance?

The Gitzo G1570M handles my 11x14" amply. Should work for 12x20" if you want a three-way pan head design, and it's relatively lightweight, if that's a concern.
