Does anyone here wear lined bi- or tri- focals? Do you ever have trouble deciding which lens of your eyeglasses to use when focusing? How do you ensure a crisp focus?

I wear bifocals. I use the top lens and specifically do not get the progressive lenses option when buying glasses. I am also an avid astronomer and spend time with my eye in an eyepiece. I find it helps to have the line in the glasses.

Thank you. That helps greatly. I too insist on the lines. For microscopy I have a set of distance only glasses.
