Tribute - John Gorman's vintage San Francisco

This is such an obscure photo. My dad is in the back seat of the convertible, ostensibly shooting a parade on Market Street. Despite the slow shutter speed and fuzzy print, you can make out the 4x5 camera in his left hand. No info on what parade it was or the year, but he's in his early 20s in this picture (born in 1920) and the car is a 1941 Pontiac. I get a kick out of that line of people.

That is quite a lineup for the egg truck at the top right .

I see what you mean! They just don't make 'em like that anymore....

And right next to it a Ford Ranch Wagon. That photo is stunning!!

What I like about it is the rainy night-time shot, the high contrast, and so many good looking cars so close together. Today that would be boring cars that all look alike.
