Good day,

I have a roll of Tri-X, exposed at box speed. As it happens, I need to develop it quickly, and only have access to Perceptol or Tmax dev. I understand neither is ideal, but which one would be less not ideal?

If Perceptol, where could I find developing times for EI 400? Ilford documentation only gives info for EI 200. Massive Dev chart (link) gives info for EI 320, and I found someone on another forum suggesting adding 10% to the development time to get from 320 to 400. Would that be correct? And how much time to deduct if the temperature is 21°C or 22°C?

If Tmax, can I use 1+7 instead of 1+4? If yes, would the Massive Dev chart data be correct (7 mins @ 24°C / link)? And if yes, how much time to add for 21°C or 22°C?

Thanks very much in advance.
