Tri-X 35mm vs. Tri-X Super 8 Reversal emulsions

Tri-X 35mm and Tri-X Super 8 reversal?

Are they the same emulsion?

I thought I could more cheaply and easily use some 35mm Tri-X to test reversal development times and exposure – rather than waste a roll of Super 8.
