Hi Guys- Just wanted to drop you all a line to let you know that Tri-Color lab over in New Bedford is still processing film and they do a great job at it. I have used their color services. They processing C-41 and Black and White up to 8x10. The color is dip and dunk. Their prices and turn around time are reasonable. www.tricolorlab.com. I didn't realize they were even there until somewhat recently..

I wish they did as well. That would be quite amazing. After speaking to them today, they said that they are now running film on an as needed basis, so I'll be helping them out by taking all of my color portrait work there from now on. All of my more art photography, I'll keep at Blue Moon because no matter what, optical can't be beat. The only places I know of that develop E-6 in MA are in the Boston area.

I've been taking my E6 to RCI Providence (in Pawtucket), they do my C41 as well.
On less critical films I'm quite happy with the service and quality I get from Converse in downtown NB.
They don't run dip and dunk there, and there's always the possibility of a scratch.

I have heard of them acutally. I have used Converse but they arn't overly freindly in there. They have had a real hard time printing Ektar. Does RCI do optical enlargements?

Converse folks are alright - just a business like any other - you have to get to know them.
No RCI does not do optical enlargements. Blue Moon? Never heard of them. Contact info please.
I'd love to have an optical printing resource.

Blue Moon is great for optical for up to 12x18 because that's as big as they do and Jim Weupper's Superior cutsom color is really, really, great custom color optical for enlargements. I sent all of my films minus the portrait work through Blue Moon for develop and print and I couldn't be happier and I usually use Jim for enlargements. Both of these labs, I think are the best color negative places. Blue Moon does black and white which I am sure must be really great too. I do all that myself though  There is nothing like optical!!
