We have had a few threads recently about Hasselblad flashes. I have recently purchased a Hasselblad D40 to use with my Hasselblad TTL system as my travel camera. However having received it I am a little nervous about the nature of the reflector and bulb; bouncing around in my carryon and my camera bag. I can easily see the reflector getting bent out of shape or the connection being damaged, not to mention the relatively bare bulb. I realize the hammerhead flashes seem less fragile but they are heavier.
Does anyone have any insight in carrying this flash while travelling and perhaps have any home made carrying/protective solutions?
Thanks
Bill
