Hi everyone,

We just put together a list of 11 must-visit places for any photographers traveling to Tokyo.

If you have been to Tokyo, you know how hard to find things (I grew up there). I thought it would be good idea to list these hard-to-find places as a useful resource for any photographers visiting Tokyo.

Thank you for this. I visited Tokyo very briefly recently and stayed in Shinjuku; I didn't know about Golden Gai or that neighbourhood (I stayed on the south side of the street, never ventured north... such a shame)

Great article! I know about a third of the places, but the others are new for me. I'll definitely check them out the next time I'm in Tokyo. As others have mentioned on your site, a map and/or how to get there information would also be really useful.

I had the great luck to be in Tokyo (very briefly) in April -- didn't get to see any of the places other than Place M gallery (and the bookstore beside it? Can't recall the name but it was packed with wonderful books).

I hope to get back again, and this list is great for a reference.
