I keep the lenses on the boards with cable release attached.. I have the Photobackpacker pack and lens cases which are excellent.

Someone mentioned Gnass products. I have a couple for their film holder cases which are excellent. However, I ordered a focusing cloth from Gnass in September 2007. They charged my credit card, never sent the product, and have not responded to my email. The last I looked at the website, it appeared defunct.

For other purposes I have a large Pelican case on wheels that holds everything with padded dividers.

Ted Harris was always looking for interesting photographic uses of non-photography cases. Ted turned me on to an Orvis Reel Case. This case is nearly identical to the Stowaway Reel case mentioned above. All of my lenses are mounted in modern copal shutters and mounted on 4x4 boards. I use reducing boards so all of my LF and ULF cameras accept the 4x4 boards. I can carry 8 lenses on boards in this case. It also has some nylon mesh pockets that I use to carry extra cable releases, maps, reciprocity tables etc.

All in all a great case. I purchased a second case that I use to carry other photography gear in.
