Hello,
I've got a Canon Pro-100S but I can't find a suitable transparency?
Could you suggest a product?
Is a T-Shirt transfer transparency suitable for alternative processes/contact printing with UV?

ty - did you use the Fixxon transparency with the Pro-100s?

Canon told me that this printer doesn't support transparencies - but transparencies are not at the list that must not have to be used with the Pro-100S (https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/M/PRO-100S%20series/EN/BG/bg-loading1700.html).
And the list of supported media (https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/M/PRO-100S series/EN/BG/bg-loading1600.html) lists T-Shirt-Transfer transparency.
I'm confused...

No, I don't have a Canon printer. I use Epson p400.

I think I might have misunderstood you. This t-shirt transparency seems to be different from what I was thinking about - i.e. transparency to make the mask for screen prints. These look like translucent or white films that you can print on and transfer the ink onto a fabric by some sort of thermal process. These probably won't work as it might absorb too much of the UV. What you want is something like this:

https://www.fixxons.com/4Silver/main.html

As far as whether it will work or not on your Canon 100S, I have no first hand experience. But I am pretty sure other people have used it to print transparencies. I wouldn't go by the Canon manual. Just try printing a clear film and see if the printer has a problem recognizing it. What I do with my Epson is put it on a carrier sheet of plain paper and then feed them together. You also probably want to specify a glossy medium so it will use the PK ink and not the MK which tends to smudge in some transparency+ink combination.

Hope this helps.

Unfortunately - Fixxons as well as Pictorico are not available in Germany/Europe.

Does anyone have used TECCO SF 140 on Canon Pro-100?
