I have noticed that when I use Toyo DDs I almost always get a thin line of higher density on the negative down each side of the just inboard of the film retaining lip (see image) and where the lip is cut away to enable the film to be loaded there is no line. I am wondering if this is a reflection from the edge of the retaining lip which seems to be somewhat shiny, or perhaps it is something else entirely. I can't find any references to it anywhere and I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar issue?

The top edge of the film is included as a reference point.

Mine are in almost mint condition imho Ian, however I'm going seal the light trap opening and then run a bit of super-fine paintshop matting paper along the said edges to take any shine off - followed by some intensive vacuuming and see if it cures the problem.
